I'm Elise.
When I was two, I climbed into my parents' bookcase and played at being a book. Books have been part of everything I've done since.
I'm the publisher behind Invictus Publishing, which publishes books like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and Master Your Mindset by Michael Pilarczyk. Through Boekcoach I teach people how to set up their own publishing company and publish their own books. With Claudio Vittori I co-founded Flower of Sound, where we create immersive sound experiences for wellbeing.
From 2014 until 2023 I co-owned Seats2Meet Amersfoort, a creative and innovative meeting and coworking space. For almost ten years it was a place where people met every day.

I give talks and keynotes, and I run workshops for teams and companies. Occasionally I work with people one-on-one.

I think technology should give people more room for their own ideas, not less. The ideas and the decisions stay with you. The system keeps track of everything around them.
It doesn't matter which AI you use. You can do this with any of them. I run Flower of Sound and my publishing work this way.

With Flower of Sound we record nature in 3D on location, for example around Lake Como. In spatial audio, a recording carries the space of the place with it, so you hear the sound around you instead of in front of you. You perceive yourself in the middle of the sound.
We use these recordings and our own compositions to create experiences for people, spaces and brands, to help them relax, focus and recover. In everything we make, technology and sound go together. We are based in the Netherlands and in Italy.

Every book starts with the same question for me: what should this book do? I've been a publisher since 2007, working in my own way, and the projects have been very different from each other.
Once the deeper why of a book is clear, I look at what fits it. That's how publishing can really work, for a writer, an entrepreneur or an organization. Through Boekcoach I teach people to work this way.
